50 GGW for the first time at this year's Warsaw Wine Experience 2022
Continuing our promotional actions for (50 GGW | More), 50 Great Greek Wines participated at this year’s Warsaw Wine Experience. Organized by the Ferment Wine Magazine, Warsaw Wine Experience is the largest wine salon in Poland. In 2021, it was visited by over 600 wine trade professionals and wine lovers.
There, on November 20th, a masterclass was held by Yiannis Karakasis MW, featuring 16 wines from this year’s 50 GGW – The List with the response being particularly warm. In fact, the event exceeded all expectations, covering all the available seats by wine professionals, journalists and winelovers.
Wojciech Bońkowski commented: “Excitement was palpable as 25 top Polish importers, sommeliers and influencers gathered for a special masterclass delivered by Yiannis Karakasis MW. Delivered in the framework of Poland’s largest wine event, Warsaw Wine Experience, the 50 Great Greek Wines presentation excited the Polish audience with a wide array of dazzling Hellenic flavours. Polish wine specialists responded equally enthusiastically to classics such as Santorini Assyrtiko and subversive novelties such as Chidiriotiko from Lesvos. With new brands breaking each year into a consistently growing market, Poland is ready to embrace the Greek wine revolution.”
