Greek Wine Returns to London with Its Largest-Ever Presence of Greek Wineries

Great Greek Wines returns to London on Monday, 19 October 2026, bringing together around 40 Greek wineries for one of the most important professional Greek wine events ever held in the United Kingdom.

The event will take place at OXO2, one of London’s most distinctive venues, located on the banks of the River Thames. Situated in the heart of the South Bank, this contemporary space regularly hosts leading cultural and business events, providing an ideal setting to present the diversity and quality of the modern Greek vineyard.

The United Kingdom remains one of the most important international markets for Greek wine. It is a market with a high level of wine knowledge, significant influence on global trends, and genuine interest in wines with authenticity, origin and a strong sense of identity. Meeting producers in person and building direct relationships with the trade continue to play a vital role in creating new business opportunities and supporting long-term growth.

At the centre of the event will be the Panorama Walk Around Tasting, with all participating winemakers present throughout the day. Each winery will present up to six wines, giving trade visitors the opportunity not only to taste wines recognised by Great Greek Wines, but also to gain a broader understanding of each producer’s philosophy and portfolio.

Alongside the tasting, Yiannis Karakasis MW will lead the masterclass Greek Terroirs: An In-Depth Exploration. Through a carefully selected range of wines, the session will examine how soil, altitude, climate and indigenous grape varieties shape the many expressions of the Greek vineyard, offering a comprehensive view of contemporary Greek wine.

The event is strictly trade only and will welcome Masters of Wine, Master Sommeliers, importers, buyers, sommeliers, journalists, and representatives of both the on-trade and off-trade. These are the professionals who influence buying decisions and play an important role in shaping the position of Greek wine in the UK market.

Particular attention will also be given to creating meaningful business opportunities. Wineries that already have representation in the United Kingdom will be clearly identified, while those seeking a new importer will be presented separately. This approach will make it easier for buyers looking to expand their portfolios, as well as for importers searching for new winery partnerships.

If you are based in London or planning to be there on 19 October, we would be delighted to welcome you.
Registration is free for qualified trade visitors and can be completed via the link below.
