On March 24, Girona, Spain, will host the 1st Mediterranean Symposium, a premier event for Mediterranean wines, aiming to showcase the richness and uniqueness of the region’s winemaking traditions. As part of this important conference, a special masterclass titled “Unlocking the Greek Wine Renaissance: Masterclass with Great Greek Wines” will take place, presenting ten of the top Greek wines from the Great Greek Wines (GGW) list for 2023. The masterclass will be led by Yiannis Karakasis MW, a founding member of the conference and the visionary behind Great Greek Wines, in front of a select audience of distinguished journalists and wine professionals.

The participation of GGW in such a high-level wine event is a great honor and a recognition of the growing quality and increasing international influence of Greek wines.
