A 50 GGW Masterclass in Amsterdam for the Dutch Guild of Sommeliers
50 Great Greek Wines organised another Masterclass abroad continuing its promotional activities. This time Yiannis Karakasis MW, travelled to Amsterdam in collaboration with the Dutch Guild of Sommeliers (NGS) and presented a selection of 12 Great Greek Wines to 30 Dutch Sommeliers.
Mr. Karakasis stated: ”Following the masterclasses in Italy, Serbia, Spain and the online presentations in Poland, England, Cyprus and of course Greece, we completed a series of promotional activities for the wines of the first edition with a masterclass for the Guild of Dutch sommeliers. The Netherlands is a mature wine market with educated palates that drink about 25 lt of wine per capita per year, ranking it in the top ten wine countries globally. It’s worthwhile to explore and invest further in this market.”
