The 50 GGW is presented and analyzed for the second time on the world’s most influential wine website, JancisRobinson.com! More specifically, Julia Harding MW, who was a judge in this year’s 50 GGW edition,tasted all the wines – winners, and is presenting her tasting notes and scores.
In her article, Julia underlines the evolution of the competition, noting the significant increase from 460 wines in 2022 to 600 wines in 2023, highlighting the personal duty to support common cultural and historical ties between Greece and Cyprus.
The 50 wines scored significantly well, with:
16 – 16.5 / 20: 23 wines(46%)
17 – 17,5 / 20: 26 wines (52%)
18 / 20: 1 wine (2%)
